What happened? Description:

The user offered various TF2 items, ordinarily untradeable, for a price of 2 rec and a Gift Wrap each. I decided to trade with him, and luckily only gave him my two Gift Wraps first. I initially noticed a Steam message marking him as being reported as a scammer. However, he denied these accusations, claiming to have been the work of a former, aggravated friend. I gave him my Gift Wraps, and as soon as the trade was complete, he closed off all communications. This user has posted this same trade multiple times on tf2outpost.com and has repeatedly changed his username.​

View attachment 68301 The posted trade on tf2outpost.com. This is actually a relisting as the user decided to quickly close the previous trade agreement that I had found.
View attachment 68302 These are all names that this user has gone by. I had originally traded to him as "God" but shortly after I was scammed, he renamed himself to "Anime".​

EDIT: Sorry, here is also an image of my trade history. At the top can be seen my trade to "Grand Masta", which, following further investigation... is still the same user.
