What happened? Description:

First off, it wasn't my account that was harmed, it was my brother's. A guy named KUKUBAHO added him and was interested in his GE Whoopee Cap and said that sometimes backpack.tf says that the item isn't duped when it really is. He said this would prove that it wasn't duped, "its ok if you let him hold your hat for a bit? if i can see it in his inventory. then i will be satisfied that its not a duped." So, he traded it to me and said he saw that it wasn't duped. He then said you can trade back. I then got a trade request from my "brother," identical account name, profile pic and everything. I traded him the hat not realizing that it wasn't actually my brother at first. He then changed the name and pic of his alternate account and transferred the item to KUKUBAHO.​

The account name of the alt keeps changing, so he is probably still scamming. If there is any way to get the item returned to my brother I would really appreciate it. I will get my brother to vouch for this claim.​

I added him and tried to tell him to give you the unusuals back and he removed me and then i told him you will lose this items, and he did not beleive me and then he blocked me.

No one will give me items and I doubt the hat was deleted. He probably traded it to a friend or sold it for cheap on the market. Today is not a good day :/

Doesn't look like an alternate (9000 hours in TF2, and a nice collection of unusuals) I've added him on Steam, I am going to discus with him the likelihood of getting the item returned.

He literally has over nine thousand hours in tf2, yet he bought an unusual from a very obvious alt account who has 1 SR report pending.
And in that 1 report there is a link to a banned main account and it says that the unusual is scammed.
Common, what the heck is it.

I think we need SR mod's opinion on this, it's impossible that such experienced trader just bought an obviously scammed unusual without knowing that it is, in fact, scammed.
