    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198136083491

    Victim profile: 76561198216295325

    What happened? Description:
This guy added me a while back, I had suspected he was a scammer (just by his profile) but he didn't mess with me so I kept him around. I saw he had changed his name back and forth between "Official Kickback", pretending to be the owner of Kickback.com, and Mr.Krabbs :). Today, he messaged me, and asked me if we wanted to trade (a Karambit Night FT, which is currently in my friends inventory, for a huntsman fade FN). I agreed, and he told me I had to send my item to steam support to make sure it isn't a bugged item. Obviously here is where it's clearly a scam, but I played along a bit more. He linked a few middlemen (NOTE: NOT STEAM SUPPORT ADMINS, THEY WERE CLEARLY MIDDLEMEN) and wanted me to send my item to a "support admin" he had added. I asked a few questions and cornered him about his true purpose and he blocked me.

Note: He has an alt account which is level 0 where he keeps his items... Don't know why but here's his info block.

    Provide Evidence:
The PNGs chat1, 2, and 3 are screenshots of the chat.
The PNGs proofofuser1 and 2 are proof that I verified the identity of the scammer.
I was going to upload an AVI video but they are not permitted :/

I assume he was just going to impersonate a middleman and take my item.
