What happened? Description:

Note: This was a scam attempt.

This guy added me lightning fast after I bumped by trades on a popular gambling/trading site, CS:GO Lounge. He asked if I was trading my Flip Knife, which I was. Having nothing in his inventory, he told me that he could give me an item off of OPSKINS, a CS:GO skin market. He asked about what item I wanted, but I asked for him to give me an offer. We came to a consensus of him offering me an M9 Bayonet | Damascus Steel (Well-Worn) for my Flip Knife | Crimson Web (Field-Tested). Before him "buying" the knife, I alerted him that he was giving me a LOT of profit (100+ USD), yet, he didn't seem to care. He told me that the item was sent to me, after him buying the knife, and that I needed to send my knife to him, one-sided. Only then would a BOT send me the knife (he provided screenshots which I will link with the rest of my evidence). I started to ask him questions about the BOT and if he could just get the knife himself and trade it with me. He avoided the BOT question, and he said that he couldn't to live trades because he lost his phone. The rest of the conversation is me asking more questions and then eventually exposing him with an excerpt from a Reddit post on OPSKINS scams (r/opskins).​

His profile is fine-tuned to convince unsuspecting traders that he is legit, despite his 25 hours in CS:GO and a worthless inventory. His +rep comments are most likely fake. For example, he asked me to give him a +rep before I had got to know him as a trader.

A bot was not used, though he claimed there was. When I asked for the BOT's URL, he tried to avoid the question.
