    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198150710863

    Victim profile: 76561198030130394

    What happened? Description:
A scammer wanted to trade with me and asked for verification that I was a trusted user to trade with, he then asked if a friend could provide verification. He added one of my friends (username: halbrd) after I invited him to group chat. Following that, he changed his name to my name and asked my friend to "trade items back". My friend and I were in competitive CS:GO at the time and were trying to continue playing. My friend didn't realise what was going on and traded my Gut Knife Fade FN and his Karambit to the scammer.

    Provide Evidence:
This is the only screenshot of the profile that I have. My friend has a screenshot of his trade here: https://i.imgur.com/ScO5zc3.jpg

I unfortunately closed the chat when he 'mysteriously' went offline, turns out he was block my friend and I.

    Hello, @Après

Unfortunately, the screenshot of the agreement (In written format, such as chat from Steam) is vital for your report.

    As such, I'll archive this.

    Regardless, thanks for reporting!
