What happened? Description:

Trade Duped. He imitated my account and sent over to my trade with details about me that even I never told anyone. My friend accepted the offer and all the item was traded away.​

Provide Evidence:

Files have been attached.
Imitation account. Trade sent to him including the items. His account.
Chat history between me and him. And The original Knife owner, who was me.​

I need more information about what happened. Explain what happened from the start. Did someone impersonate you? Who was it? I need their Steam id if they did.

The imitator's account is there, "If it ain't you" or Imitator. My account is El Frogo. My friend account is "Misteren" or Victim.

Imitator chatted me up, offering to buy my knife and wanted me to prove it wasn't a duplicate. I sent it over to my friend Misteren, telling him not to accept any trade request from Imitator, before I left home. Victim then accepted direct trade request from the Imitator, who imitated me, El Frogo. The Imitator then proceed to ask Victim to transfer all his skin to the imitated account as an "act of trust" that I'm not a scammer.

Imitator then had the gut to ask me on Steam Chat Mobile how much for my Deagle Cobalt Disruption. I also got a message from my friend asking why was I on mobile and if I had received the Knife and Skins he sent to the Imitator.

Edit: Victim then accepted direct trade request from the Imitator, who imitated me, El Frogo, requesting he get the Knife back.

TL;DR "Misteren" lost his skins. (Photo Attached). I only lost my Huntsman Knife.

Please have your friend go to his trade history and click on the persons name that he traded all of the items to and get me the Steam ID for that person.

Screenshot 27 is his Trade History. The bottom most trade, + Huntsman Knife El Frogo. Is from me.
The first 11:05 and 11:09 trade is with the imitation account.

Does your friend have any of the chat between the imposter and himself?

Sadly, no. Being a rookie who has no experience, he closed the chat and I'm also unsure how to check chat history. He is also currently offline.

Im still going to mark this ready for admin to process.
I think with the fact that he impersonated you and your friend has the trade history to back up your report will be ok.
