What happened? Description:

Hi

2 to 3 weeks or so, this guy in my friends list which I never really talked to, messaged me asking if I could lend him my buds, so he could buy his dream unusual - a cloudy moon nappers. I told him that he didn't have enough to buy it, and he said he offered an unusual which I don't remember - didn't save the chat (apologies) plus buds (my buds). I told him I wouldn't lend him my buds, but he kept insisting - I just ended up lending him 2 buds. A day later, he told me that a long friend of his told him the same exact thing he told me - if he could lend him the buds (which he did). Unfortunately the guy ran away.
He ended up asking me for 2 more buds - I did eventually lend him 2 more, after he kept insisting. Apparently, a friend (also of long relationship) asked him the same thing, and, he also ran. Since then I kept saying for 2-3 days that I wouldn't lend him more buds - after 3rd day I just gave 2 more (that makes 6 buds). In the exact same day he said that he would pay me the day after. The next day, I asked him if he could pay me back at that time, he instantly went offline without an answer (also didn't save chat - apologies). Since then, things seemed a little suspicious so I talked to a close friend which might knew something about this guy. Apparently my friend had some evidence about this guy. Apparently there are alot of rumors that he already scammed some unusuals worth 10+ buds. Well, anyways I could've checked his steamrep, but I didn't - don't know why.
Also there's an odd thing about when I traded with him in the 29th of november. I had two lvl 3 buds and when I check historical view on backpack on the 28th I only have one lvl 3 bud and it doesn't show that I traded with him. Don't know how to explain this.​

Note: As I said he was "scammed two times, each time 2 buds. But the thing is none of the buds I traded with him went for the same people - all for different people, so it's obvious he's lying.

Note: Maybe the whole chat wasn't necessary, but I just wanted to make it clear.
In the last screenshot he says I refused him to pay me the buds back. It was a misunderstanding, what I said was "f✿✿✿ the buds" sarcastically because I knew he wasn't going to pay me back. Also, the day before I had this chat he said he was going to pay me but he didn't. Unfortunately I don't have the screenshots to prove it. Also, as you can see in the last screenshot he says he is going to pay me
in 4 hours (5pm)

Note: In the 6th he says he's going to pay me later that day. Later that day... Nothing. And as I said before when he traded with me the 5th and 6th buds (in the
4th of december) he also said later that day he would pay me back. Also, nothing.

Note: In one of the screenshots, he affirms that 2 of the buds were used to buy another unusual which we didn't agree the buds were going to be used for.

Note: I can't confirm this, because I didn't take screenshots, in one of the screenshots he mentions he was talking to the guy selling the cloudy moon napper's and also mentions his name. He tells me his permanently banned on outpost, but I check the cloudy nappers anyways. I find the guy, and this is what I find: offline (so how was he talking to him) ; not banned ; and he wasn't even friends with him.

Note: At this point, he's just begging and begging - sending me trade request from every 30 seconds and trying to rush the trade.

Note: Now he's with another story that he wants another unusual when he hasn't even paid me back from the other.

Note: As you can see in the last two screenshots pyronator is affirming that if I lended him 2 buds monsterman would accept the offer. I asked about that to monsterman and he said that he needed atleast 6 buds for him to accept the offer.

Well that's it basically, and it also seems like the guy has been in the business for a while.​
