    Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198160884702

    Victim profile: 76561198277910071

    What happened? Description:
    The accused contacted me regarding my M9 Bayonet, wanting to know if I was interested in trading with him. I told him yes, and we came to an agreement of items.

    Then he told me he wanted to have our items verified by an admin, and if neccesary, "cleaned", to avoid being banned. He invited a fake middleman, imporsonating "R u i" to the chat, and I explained that "R u i"s profile seemed to not be the official one of SR and reddit. After wasting their time a bit, to gain more evidence, I exposed their scam, and they quickly left the chats and blocked me.

    The attached file shows the entire chat log between me and the accused, me and the middleman, and the group-chat.​

    Provide Evidence:
    "Scamming evidence.png" - Chat logs between all parties of the attempted scam, including fake middleman.
    "Scammer.png" - Accused profile with URL​

    Who is the other user involved? Please provide full SR profile block.

    Also it appears as if you've accused the wrong user - can't confirm identity of this user ever being in contact with you.
    How did you get this users ID to set up the report?

    Follow this:
    Need to verify this and you can do that with a screenshot of your activity - when you take this and it shows you adding the user hover your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows the popup of the profile. Make sure you have the Steam Client URL enabled before doing anything. Take the screenshot and make sure it's Full Screen and make sure steam client URL is enabled, not edited or cropped in anyway!
