What happened? Description:

Told me he would send me a steam wallet code for my AK-47 Frontside Misty. Took my Frontside Misty, gave me a fake code, unfriended me, and went offline. You can see my Frontside Misty in his inventory.​

Yo i know that guy irl... he sent you a legit steam gift card code. idk y it didnt work... maybe you typed it in wrong? and btw the code u attached is not the one he sent you. it started with wks1q not wk51q

I tried typing it in again using the code I received and the modified version "WKS1Q" that you told me, and neither of them worked. More info would be appreciated.

Hmm... Im not sure. I haven't seen the gift card he had in a while... I know he never used the gift card and threw it away after he gave you code... I would have to assume that somehow someone got the code who wasn't supposed to. I really can't help you anymore, but i'll let the admins decide this based on what you provided.
