    What happened? Description:
    I became friend with one guy who was interested in my knife. We started to chat and he said he wanted to trade. He showed me his items, he let me pick an item. Then he said that we need a TRADE ASSISTANT who should check if our items were not part of scams. He told us to send the items to him and he has shown me screenshots that the other trader sent the item and I sent mine. As soon as I tradet my item the 2 guys were gone.​

    bibanator#500k added me, he claimed he wanted to trade ...etc adn when the trade was ready he told me we need an "assistant" who works for valve that must verify if the items aren't from other scams.

    ok that image shows no scam in progress - you can't assume someone is going to scam you cause they don't have something in their inventory...some users store things in alt accounts. As for the user that added you from my question you need to show me you adding him with a screenshot of your activity.

    Full screen DO NOT edit the screenshot..do NOT crop the screenshot. One last chance to give me what I need FULL screen, unedited/uncropped. When you take it thru steam client make sure URL is enabled at the top...move your mouse over users name so it shows profile popup too.

    You didn't have URL enabled and you didn't follow directions.
    No items can't be returned regardless of what we do here.
    Valve no longer returns items as of March 9th of this year.

    Amazing...that means there's no point reporting them. Even if they get their accounts banned, it's not hard to create another. We need a web police here because this is REAL FRAUD. My item was worth around 40-45 euros. These guys get rich from fraud

    @f1_1 SteamRep is here for education purposes - to give others a tool to research users that others have encountered not to punish. We are not the police...we have no control over that. We are not Valve - we can not return items and Valve will no longer return items as I showed you already.
    You are exactly right - its not hard to create another account... you can still report to valve and they may take action if they investigate it on their end. Your items may be worth that..I've seen way worse get scammed. Now if you wish to finish the report I still need to have the screenshot I requested the way I requested it so that maybe you can help someone else avoid issues with this user...the choice is yours - you have 24hours to get that here as requested.
