    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561197961289293

    Victim profile: 76561198064996021

    What happened? Description:
Random add. Wanted to trade for my knife. Asked me to check his "Vault account", since those were the items he wanted to trade... yet that account (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198333807843) is a level one and the only interesting part about it is that it is LOADED with CS:GO skins. Once we worked out a deal, my knife for one of "his knives", which was a 60 dollar profit for me, he asked me to list my knife on OPSkins to make sure it wasn't bugged, or how he described it, "ilegal". This made me pretty suspicious because I have dealt with another scammer who has used OPSkins in hopes to scam me. I had also checked common scams involving OPSkins (a Steam Community post, found here > http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=551801840), and this had proved my suspicions. The examples of the scammer(s) used in the guide I consulted used the same language as the scammer I encountered had used (using "sir", in particular). I don't know if this matters, but it was definitely something I observed. I kept letting him know that I didn't want to go on OPSkins or to make an account, but he kept insisting he would help me and at one point asked for my Skype to help me work things out, on top of him sending me a screenshot (http://imgur.com/a/n5WpZ) from OPSkins saying to "Be aware of Bugged or dupped items". I believe if that was a notification in OPSkins, "dupped" would have been spelled "duped" (This added to my suspicions). Pretty convincing to a beginning trader on Steam, I would say. His profile is also pretty convincing, his steam level high and with 13 years of service (hijacked account?). His inventory is also private. At the end, he just assumed that my items were "ilegal" and told me to "f✿✿✿ off". He had also let me know he was recording the conversation to send to an OPSkins admin to get me banned? I don't think so. Items were not touched during the course of this conversation, but this person seems like a scammer to me and I wanted to alert the community. Thank you.

P.S. - I had also done some more digging and some of the people that commented on his steam profile had the same set up with a "Vault account" link on their profile... false rep?

    Provide Evidence:
Attached are screenshots of the conversation, along with their profile and their "Vault account" profile.

Also attached is the picture that I had provided the Imgur link to of the misspelled OPSkins notification around bugged and "dupped" items.
