    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198161974326

    Victim profile: 76561198060838719

    What happened? Description:
My accusation is that "Haradlsen" user listed tried to use a fake OP skins bot as a means to take my items.

He added me spontaneously somehow, maybe through the steam cash group. The initial agreement was 40 USD and 5 USD for a skin and a sticker. He said it could be traded using OP skins as a middleman. I asked him to walk me through the process which was to go to the sell tab and to add it to the sell queue in OP skins, but not actually deposit the item. At this point he said to look for a notification. Which I did see was named as an OP skins bot. Thankfully I had double checked the bot and found out that it was not an actual OP skins bot. Therefore he had attempted to use a fake OP skins bot to get my skins.

If I had been more knowledgable about the mechanics of OP skins, I would have been able to avoid even the attempt in the first place.

I viewed the profile of the fake bot and found it had a fake group as well filled with more fake bots. I've compiled a list of the bots in the group plus the leader of the group:

Above is the initial trade agreement of 40 USD and 5 USD for a skin and a sticker to be traded through OP skins as a digital middle man.

By 10:04 he had finished walking me through the steps which did not include depositing it. (To my later found knowledge, it was not possible to trade anything through OP skins without using the deposit button.). He shows that he is aware that I should have gotten a notification from an OP skins bot after putting into queue but not depositing. Therefore, he had been using this as an means to tricking unknowing people like me.

Further proof that he was trying to stop me from depositing it.

At this point I had double checked the group and realized that the bot was fake so I didn't accept any trade.

Notified the trader that he had been found out.

@MetalThrust If you got a trade offer from a fake bot account I need to see a FULL screenshot of that trade offer - open it up in a web browser, hover your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows up the SteamURl at the bottom. Don't edit/crop image please.
