    Valve has different types of bans and account limitations. Some, like VAC and trade bans, are publicly displayed on the profile, some are not shown until you try to trade with the person. Typically if an account is under investigation by Valve, it will be banned from trading but that won't be shown publicly. This is entirely at the discretion of Valve, and we have no oversight or visibility into it at SteamRep.
