Description: Well i met him on sythe.org quite a great site, ive never had trouble with it. So i found him on there and he offered to sell me a skyrim gift for 40$ as he had steamwallet he wanted paypal money. So i bought him a greendot card for 40$ and set him the code. He bought skyrim and traded it with me and it worked great until yesterday... it got revoked. I had trusted this guy and was planning to buy more things from him, we commented on both of our profiles saying the other was legit and that i had traded a greendot for skyrim, as a result of a successful trade i didnt think anything of it and took no pictures. He was trusted and i didnt see a problem and it was all my fault, now theres no way i can get a refund, i just want to make sure this guy cant scam anyone else like he did to me. He privated his profile and removed me today, yesterday he said he had been refunded and that he was going to send a report to steam support for everyones games to be rolled back and he provided me with this picture (http://i42.tinypic.com/5nj49s.png). I showed it to the traders guild people and they claimed it was shopped, me being trusting and gullible believed it and waited until today assuming he would get my game rolled back. As you can tell from this report, i havent gotten my game back and ill have to just deal with that. Im hoping to spread the word about him being a scammer. So please review this and label this guy a scammer, i dont want him wasting other people's money like he did with mine... Anything else you need to know just post it here i will help as much as i can but i cant provide pics because i didnt take any. Thank you guys for keeping scammers from trading


And yes check his name history because he has changed his name, id, account, and other things multiple times since scamming me.

i would but steam wouldnt be too happy that i basically used paypal to trade for a game... i didnt use the trade window so they cant help

You should contact Steam Support regardless as they still may be able to trade ban him. As it is, I am going to mark him though generally Valve will disable the original person's account if it is due to a stolen credit card, etc. Though he may have an alt that "took the fall" so to speak.
