This guy added me for my unusual, offering a Voodoo Juju, which he claimed to be clean. Turns out it was a gifted Juju, which isn't worth as much as he claimed it was.
Don't know if this is an offence worthy of marking as a scammer, however in my eyes he is a textbook scammer, as he misrepresented the trade to try get a favourable deal.

Arrentwan #fixin the key market: The Voodoo Juju is a Hat item wearable by all classes and was released with Second Annual Halloween Event update. It has a similar appearance to the Ghastly Gibus with but with green trim around the base, a small skull with red hearts around the head, two gold piercings on the brim, and finger bones extending around the sides. Although the Voodoo Juju was a purchasable item during the 2010 Event it is now only craftable using the Unusual Haunted Scrap Metal and 4 Refined Metal. Normally, this hat isn't tradable without a gift wrap.This hat is considered very rare, as it can't be bought and only has a 50% chance of being crafted with the haunted scrap pile.

if you didn't do the trade (Or so what I hear) then technically this is a false report, and you're being childish to make such a big deal. Also if the trade however did go through, its your fault for not noticing it was gifted? What? It was untradable juju, it doesnt matter if it was already gifted, it will be gifted. I honestly do not see where this is going.

I should probably change every third person pronoun to "you", as I'm willing to bet you created an alt account to come back under a different name. As to why, I don't entirely know. But you created the account today, and you're already on SR defending a scammer? Unless you're an alt account, you should be WM1ing or sniping from spawn right now.

I am not an alt haha. I am using a family member's account because I gave my main to my brother. But I am just saying, he didn't try to scam u! he may have lowballed, but yes, if a item is gift wrapped, its not 100% clean. No fuss!

Not sure how much I buy that story as you joined steam yesterday. But oh well.
And I'm pretty sure he did as he said he was overpaying, and linked me to the statistic saying it was 18-19 keys. There is the possibility that he simply didn't know better and thought he was legitimately overpaying, but since he has an unusual, he would have been in trading for a fair amount of time, implying he should know better.
And just out of curiosity, why do you care so much about this case? If you truly think he is innocent, then just give it time and he won't be marked. And if he is marked, but is innocent, then he can just appeal the tag.

He's already marked for several scams. Just letting you know it's added to notes.
