Alright, so allow me to explain the situation. Do note that I have changed my steam name and picture since the event, but this is me from the past. Basically, there was an event within a group called Gentlemann's Estate and Haberdashery where you could win $100 for playing the most on a CS:GO server within 7 days from the event post. For 7 days, I attained and remained the rank of first place within most playtime on that server. After 7 days were over, I was waiting for DeltaDude to contact me so we could talk about my reward. He never did, so I attempted to contact him. He never responded to me. I posted in the event, as seen below, asking about when the winners would be rewarded. The player commenting below me was the second place winner. He never received a reward, either, nor did any of the other winners. In the first image I placed, you can say that I am in first according to playtime in the same website posted in the event details, which state that the person with the most playtime would win $100. I made a discussion about it, but DeltaDude removed it and banned me from discussion within the group, so I cannot get a picture of it to post here sadly. After talk with a friend of DeltaDude, who held some authority within the group, I was warned not to mess with DeltaDude for the sake of my computer, and that was all I was told. I know this is a bit old, but I checked on DeltaDude and discovered he stills does fake giveaways and people still fall for them like flies. He still advertises servers with fake promises of prizes. I want SteamRep to know about him so people won't waste their time with him trying to aquire such things from him.

Do you have the chat you had with "delta dude" regarding the deal?

Can you give your trading history showing you didn't receive the end of the deal?

Giveaways that we conduct have never been fake. You can find many users who received their winnings, in fact i stopped running gent for health reasons.

I started doing some giveaways again, and my latest one was a holiday raffle.

Everyone who won you can contact and confirm that they got what was promised, also everyone had the chance to get a free background / emote just because we could.

As far as why you were banned it is because you kept asking nonstop when the event was over if it was a scam, every day, the entire time.

As for the screenshot. You took the screenshot AFTER the event was over, and you were not in first.


No items were received from this user, and the user Mr. President does not speak for me, i blocked the OP AFTER he spammed comments, threads, etc.

Just thought i should put up my side of the story, hope everyone has a happy holiday.

As a side note, i am sorry you felt cheated, gent was created for one reason.

Give back to the players.

Everything gent earned through donations and advertisements went back to giveaways.

Which if what you say is true, wouldn't there be ALOT more scam reports open since we handed out a total of $7,000 of items / games?

Again, i am sorry you felt cheated, but reporting me 8 months after the event is over is not the route to take.

Me and delta built the group from the ground up in a by the players for the players fashion with one simple rule during giveaways no talking about the event during the event.
Constant and consistent pestering of admins and other users led to the banning of this individual which also disqualified him and reporting after 8 months of the closure of the event is not the way to go.
Gent doesn't even exist anymore, it died a hard and painful death, may it rest in peace.

I haven't checked on this for a while, sorry for that. Delta, if you're going to host a giveaway/contest, or multiple in your case, you can't pick and choose which winners actually win. I do not know if you're rewarding your winners in your new events, but why should I trust you after you scammed me when I was a winner in one of your contests? The least you can do is try to be professional about this, not lie that I didn't win when I did. Banning me from your group is the least of my worries, I do not wish to be a part of a group led by someone like you that bans someone for speaking the truth. The only reason the screenshot was taken after the event was over was because before it was over I did not feel any reason to take a screenshot. You can still see that I had the most time and the screenshot was only taken 2 days later at the most.

Again, i am sorry you felt cheated, but if feeling so cheated, why not contact one of the many other admins?

D34TH being my assistant helped me with alot of these things, if you feel there was a mistake we can review it, but from my payment records, the prizes were paid out, and again, i dont see valid proof of a scam going on.

It is not our goal to scam users in our group when we get nothing in return.

The only thing we were looking to do is bring players together and have fun.

The new owner of gent has nothing to do with me or anyone else from the past.

I am not sure if i stated it before or not, but i had to leave gent a few months after that event due to severe health reasons which i still struggle with on a daily basis.

I little story about why i do the things i do.

I suffer from severe depression and anxiety, stress consumes my life, and my outlook on life is a bit grim, so, by making other people happy, it is a small part of happiness i can get now days.

If i were attempting to scam people I would not be able to sleep at night, but thats just my personal experience, but considering this was over a year ago, i dont know what i can really do to re-verify if you won or not, but i have added you on steam and would be more than happy to give you a consolation prize since you do feel you won.

But like i said, the payments were sent out i will not show payment details for personal reasons, but they were handed out within 2 weeks of finishing.

On a positive note, i hope you had a happy new year, and sorry this has bothered you for so long.

Hi there. Buddy of delta's here and moderator of his group. I don't have any Proof per say so you can take my word for it or ignore me as you like but Delta is a good guy. When he says hes giving things away he does it. sometimes it may take a bit to receive it but he always follows through. Also afew of the giveaways done on the group are from people like me although I haven't done one in a while so if your going after delta you go after me.

I actually spoke with The President, but he warned me that if I didn't want to be DDoSed, I shouldn't continue in my endeavor to get my reward. Somebody at the time actually contacted me via Steam and told me to ask Mr. President and another admin, whose name I cannot recall. (I believe it started with G and there was something about Batman). The person who told me to talk to these admins has asked that I disclose his name, so I'm going to respect that. As for the people claiming to have received prizes, I am happy to see he is actually rewarding people for contests now, but that doesn't mean he didn't cheat me and others out of prizes of our own. The prizes you received are also less value than the money prizes that were to be awarded for the Counter-Strike GO event I participated in.

I have contacted MichaelnovHD and given him games to hand out to those he felt were not rewarded properly, as i cannot verify all of this since it was a year ago.

But his passion about it shows me that he did indeed feel something went wrong. So it has been corrected.

Confirmed: DeltaDude has given me games to hand out to all those I feel were not rewarded properly or at all. I have began to track down the people from the top of the list and will contact them. From what I've seen, DeltaDude is now giving in his giveaways. I feel that this has been resolved since it has been a year and would like the moderator to close this down.
