Hello, do mislead of trading can be reported?

hello. I get/buy something (a tradeable game) just because after confirming in a chat windows. (to be traded with keys). after I got/bought the game. he rejects the trade and says it was not what we were talking about.

although it is nothing really lose during trade. it is reportable to steamrep.com? (with screen capture chat history )

Unfortunately, no. a trade consists of 2 parts for SR:
- Agreement on what is traded for what, steam items/games vs steam items or steam games or money.
- The trade itself.

If a trader wants something that you don't have, for example a game, the choice is up to you to acquire these.

There is only 1 exception, but that has more to do with very specific conditions where we look into that. Its what we call the "glimmer drop":
- Scammer 1 says he trades a bills hat for a cheap very specific item, for example a Bonk Boy level 27
- Scammer 2 says he trades a white bonk boy level 27 for 3 keys.
- you trade for the white bonk boy level 27 for 3 keys
- Scammer 1 is gone from the server....

What they did there was luring you to pay way too much for a item for you tho to make a huge profit.

Wow. I've never seen this before. Scammers are getting way smarter.
