Description:2 days ago, one random guy send me a message and told to add him friend.I didnt see that the link was writing staemcommunity instead of steamcommunity and i put my username/pass so he took control of my account.Immidiately, when i realised that some1 else were in my account i changed password. The guy that has hacked my account made pending requests to arseniy.titov.If i could see my deleted friends, i would remember the name of the guy that phished. When i came back i saw my timebreaker, 6 keys and mantas missing.I also saw another pending request that arseniy.titov hadnt the time to answer. So i saved some of my items too, i have some pictures but i dont have pictures of the chat with the one that sent me the phising link.

Screenshots:When he took my items at first, http://prntscr.com/268j0a , http://prntscr.com/26k8b3
When he didnt answer the pending quest in time to take the rest of my items, http://prntscr.com/26k83q

He scammed many people since yesterday and many people has lost precious items.Tell me if more proof is needed.

I've been one of the victims of this guy as well. I've been doing some digging in on this guy and found that many alts were involved. I will lay out the confirmed accounts involved and all the proof I have gathered while making my steam support ticket below:
    http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198053231071
    http://steamcommunity.com/id/LegoTonix
    http://steamcommunity.com/id/theruffled/
http://steamcommunity.com/id/commandoR3x ( This guy right here admited to stealing my unusual, the same one arseniy took. They are linked)
And not to mention arseniy.titov which you already know about.
All of these have been linked to the hijack, transporting hijacked goods throughout these accounts. All proof will be listed below.
There is also a few unconfirmed alts and involved accounts that will be listed below:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/hyperatic (this one came up when arseniy attempted to re-hijack my account with another community linked. It could be a hijacked account or another alt. I'm guessing he knew I had to much info on him).
http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198060942032 (This guy claims to have payed 3 buds for some of the hijacked unusuals to whatever confirmed alts were selling them, but the alts didn't have the pure on them. He seemed confused on the topic though, assuming I sold it for 8 keys. Either he was bluffing, or clueless).
    Important notes:
I'm still friends with some of the alts so I can keep them around to gather the proof needed.
Arseniy.titov doesn't hold onto items, he moves them around to many different alts. To find those alts, track them down through item history and inspect those people's accounts, add them, talk to them, etc. Only problem is that it is MUCH harder to locate dota 2 items, as I have no means of acquiring their history.
One piece of proof below, hacked proof n.3, is another one of his victims.

It's nice to hear that valve returned your items because I had a similar situation with areseniy.titov

Just an update, ruffle might have been someone who simply bought keys from arseniy, but the fact he didn't get items in return make it really fishy.

Just an update. Ruffled could be legit, but the fact that he has keys that belonged to arseniy and that arseniy has had no trace of getting any items in return from the trade make the situation fishy.

    Hey guys-- per this thread:

    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

For phishing/hijacking, we are not currently handling those cases. Valve is much better to handle those and there's not much we can do. The thread above shows recommendations for reporting those accounts quickly to Valve.

Keep in mind that most of the accounts phishing are hijacked accounts, too.

So at least mark him as scammer, you cant return the items but at least let ppl know what kind of person he is.

That account is likely hijacked as well-- there's no telling if he is a scammer or if someone is using that account to scam by tricking them just like they tricked you guys.

They may have been sending the same links around using your account, as well. We've changed our policy not to mark phishing accounts because everyone is phishing now (including you guys who fell for the phish) and therefore everyone would be a scammer-- we can't handle the appeal load for this. Report to Valve so they can stop those accounts and they can be recovered through one place.

It's annoying, but there's simply no way to keep up with how many people fall for these phishing scams. We're an all-volunteer site and we're way behind as it is.
