What happened? Description:

My friend sent me a message with a link asking me if i wanted free TF2 items, he also said that he got an unusual from there, i did not open it due to it being obvious.​

i think he got hacked.
i dont think he is sending you those link. someone is using his account
i have screenshots if you need them.

I talked to him before. he is not the type to scam. but im not really sure.
ill make sure to re-add him on my friends account to make sure.

Well how can you prove that his account got hacked with screenshots?

Well, 1st and 3rd screenshots, prove nothing, because you could have it all planned so when you take the screenshots, he looks innocent.

I can't Prove He is not the one trying to hack people. but it seems a bit stupid to try and phish people after having almost 2k hours on tf2, and have a big community level on steam with 16 badges.
my theory is he got hijacked when he tried this so called free tf2 item thing. and now the hijacker is using his account to scam more people.
i'not 100% sure but i had him added for a few days and he was friendly. (by friendly i mean he didn't look like a scammer.)
