What happened? Description:

Guy added me the other day looking to buy my backpack. Today he said that he finally had the money and we agreed to trade my crone's first for $150.00 over paypal and the rest of my items for $150.00 afterwards. I traded him my crone's dome, and a couple minutes later he blocked me and went private.​

Provide Evidence:

this shows the actual trade, the chat logs, and the trade history of him agreeing to give the $150.00 for the crone's. In the other pictues, you can see that he has blocked me and gone private, and that i have not received any money through my paypal from him.​

This user was planning on buying an unusual of mine in a few weeks so he still has me added. I've attached a picture showing the unusuals he has.

Yeah, there's my Killer Exclusive he scammed from me half a hour ago. If he's still in your friends list, ask him why he did it or something.

You can see my DP Villains Veil and all. Tell him to stop being such a c✿✿✿.

I wonder what drove Google to become a scammer, probably just some butthurt dick who wants more virtual items.

Is it even possible to get our stuff back in cases like this where real money is involved? I wrote a thread at Steam Support page hoping that they would answer.

I had kept him added in order to have access to his friends only profile but it seems like he's already done for. No point in asking him why he did it, it's simple - greed.

I reported him and also opened a steam support ticket. Since there's so many of us who were scammed by him all at the same time, i reckon that increases our chances of getting our stuff back. We do all need to report and open steam support tickets though.

does steam ever do anything to these guys ?

yea i heard about tickets how to you make one i only contacted steam and reported a violation

I also got my darkblaze executioner scammed..
we should make a thread about this serious incident
it might help to get our stuff back

I also opened ticked on Steam Support yesterday, but they always take a week or so to respond if they even respond.
We need to make a ticket with all victim names included or something and keep trying to get our stuff back.

Also, his profile is no longer private and he is trade banned, but still I don't see any unusuals in his backpack and by tracking history of my hat, it supposed to be in his inventory, but it's not.

i have heard nothing back from steam yet however he has been banned by valve and our items have been removed from his backpack so am not sure whats going to happen now

And as I previously said, we need to make a ticket with all victim names included and scammed items.

YES we do agreed we should make a ticket with everyone who was scammed by this person but i do hope we can get our items back we spent alot of time trading to get these things and it would be wrong not to return them to us
