If any admin is reading this, please ban him and return my beloved lost hat back. 1 lesson i have learnt is that paypal sales should not be allowed or should be monitored by valve members of staff or someone with that sort of power to grant back the item/money.

Valve stated that they do not support Trading outside of TF2, learned it the hard way when I lost my Smoking Pencil Pusher.

Even after I traded 2 bills hat for the price of 1, my bill is still not recovered because they said I agreed with the trading conditions twice.

He scammed me as well out of my Scorching Flames Headwarmer, still impersonating a middleman. As soon as he got my hat, he dropped off the face of the earth, stopped responding to my messages, and I can't even leave a comment on his steam profile. And I know I'll never get the hat back, because I made the trade in a Steam Trade, not a TF2 trade.

Wow are you serious? This guy scammed me out of my Unusual Headwarmer with Sunbeams. It was a really good hat and his profile looked promising, but then he never sent the paypal money. So yeah, please ban him. If only i could get my hat back....dang it.

Thanks for the replies guys, i think this is just paranoia and bull****. I am a frequently playing steam member for at least 3 years+, I have payed £100's for games on steam, i bought a copy of TF2 for hard earned money to have some stupid Free-To-Play scammer take my hard earned unusual away. I think this is a disgrace because valve have a list of scammers right here with all the proof in the world they need to ban those ****s right off the steam community but they decide not to. I also think its a joke that people who have paid from £40-10 for the game get a stupid proof of purchase hat, its only a stupid hat and it doesen't even have any effect like the new pyromania achievement hat. If there is something to be done about this it needs to be now and in an instant because this scammer is scamming at least 2 or more unusuals on a daily base!!!

There is no such thing as a TF2 trade. Even while in TF2 you can exchange for steam gift games and portal 2/ other items for other games.

I have actually sent in a report with him in it, any victims or attempted victims may want to look at my report for the FAKE MIDDLEMAN group on steam for Steamrep+, included Joseph, Bluedemon's impersonator, many other tagged scammers, a fake Diego, and some untagged possible alts, if you'd like to take a look at that.

I have found out who buys the stolen unusuals from Allen afterwards. Ive added you only to tell you the information about the guy who might possibly still have the stolen item.

I am very unhappy , I tried doing a fair paypall trade because of all the rep that this person had. Well I did not know about his scamming until I did it and never got the money. I lost my precious ghost TC and if possible id love to have it back. Please do not trade at all with this person and at least now he is banned so that no other people can have the same fate as I did. If there is any chance of me getting the hat back It would be great but I really feel rubish.
