What happened? Description:

Just a simple breach of agreement scam, him and his friend tried to scam me.

I dont rly have much to say here, you know that's a scam so its no needed to provide anymore info.​

I dont see any reason to do so but still:

So the guy added me. He had an M9 Slaughter FT and I had a Karambit Blue Steel FT which is lower than the Slauhgter one.
I asked him if he would like to trade and he said he would trade his knife for a "rare dota item" which apprently only one guy had.
He told me that if I would get it he would trade his knife for it 1:1
I asked him to link me the account of the guy who holds the "rare item" (so ill be able to report him too) and then I added him
I asked him what he wants for the Dota item and then he said he wants my knife.

As you can understand, they're friends who are trying to scam people who unaware of real prices of "rare" items.

Now you understand?

That's what I thought the scam was, from reading the chat log.

A breach of agreement is a rather general term.
