This player (PRTF2) oHa7Eo just scammed me for my earbuds. The deal was my earbuds for his 60 dollars on his paypal account. I didn't know what earbuds were worth at this time so don't think I'm trying to rip him off but this was the deal, I have pictures and he told me he sent the 60 dollars then he wanted to scam me for my bills hat so he said keep me on your friends list until I said I'm not interested in selling that hat. Then he unadded me and blocked me from steam and I am shocked how he would scam me after he has 55 comments on his profile most of them being people saying +rep. Thanks for reading all of this and I reallly really hope I can get my buds back and this scammer can get trade banned.

Plus get a screenshot of your inventory history of the trade to show you indeed gave him a bud.

That picture showed how he basically demanded that I give him the buds first instead of him giving me the money first.

Profile > Inventory > View Inventory History

Then go to the date of the scam and find the trade. Take a screenshot to prove you gave the bud.

There shows my trade history so you can see how it says - Earbuds because I gave him the earbuds.

You should have check steamrep of the person you are always dealing with.
Also be aware of overpaying in the real world money. "my earbuds for his 60 dollars"
The scammers are mostly overpaying the buy out. If the deal seems too good then don't take it.

As you can see he is already marked and the tags and reasons may be added as he was involved in TF2Macy somehow I guess.
He is currently an admin in the PRTF2 - Polartop's TF2 Contests group which is one of the reasons why is the group little affected.

Upon confrontation, oHa7Eo claimed:

10:23 AM - (PRTF2) oHa7Eo: That was not me, it had to be an impersonater
10:23 AM - (PRTF2) oHa7Eo: I wasnt even on yesterday

However, trade history was recorded yesterday for these level 61 Earbuds.
Also, chatlog screenshots above prove otherwise.

No one else on Steam has been renamed oHa7Eo and this was his first defense.
Also, oHa7Eo removed all negative reputation from his profile and is now Online but not responding.

Sketchy.

I've added earbud scamming to his offenses (he was previously tagged on UTC for running from a spycrab). Thank you for the report.
