Can you remove the custom profile url?

How can you revert the custom url back to the default steam id (numbers) ?

Uh, I want it to be http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198099974010 not http://steamcommunity.com/id/idonotwantacustomurl_ I do not want a custom url.

AFAIK, you can't.

you can remove the custom URL by leaving the field blank when changing it....

/edit:
- Open Steam Browser
- Click your Nickname on top and select "Profile"
- Click the button "Edit Profile"
- Empty the "Custom URL" field.
- Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

wow, nice... I didn't push thru for I don't want to lose my own custom one... It used to be working like this... interesting. Guess you'll have to send a support ticket to get it looked at by the Steam Beta guys...

Looks like removing custom URLs isn't going to be a thing, at least not anytime soon.

The amount Mike Blaszczak wrote there, if he had put that time/effort in putting a function in to check if a empty Custom URL was requested and remove it, he would have been busy a lot less with that thread...
