I wouldn't call myself a victim, because I didn't fall for the scam, but here we go anyway. He offered money for my unusual at which point I suggested he cash that in for buds & keys. He didn't respond and immediately logged off. His profile is private and he has no rep suggesting he is a trust-able USD trader. It seems he is blanket offering on unusuals on tf2outpost.com in hopes of luring someone in. Also worth noting he has 2 weeks on steam.

Yep, this guy added me and offered to buy ALL my unusuals with Paypal. His profile is private even if you have him as a friend's. No souceop rep thread or anything. According to steamrep, he has never logged into tf2outpost or tf2tp.

Anyway, be extremely cautious of people with private profiles that add you to buy several hundreds of dollars worth of unusuals or promos.

I can vouch with these people. The guy added me out of the blue. Offered to buy both my unusuals threw paypal. Said he had no rep and it was his first time buying an unusual. Also linked me a photo saying his steam was 7 years old which i do not believe for a second.

The moment you linked him to this thread, "he had to go."

Kinda of like when the OP requested that he would take the equivalent in buds, he just logged off without saying a thing.

I was also contacted by this scammer, I have taken screenshots of his attempt to purchase unusual with PP and going middleman.

I would upload the screenshots should neccesary.
