What happened? Description:

Found his advert through Lounge, checked his extensive Bitcoin reputation and other rep from him trading CSGO Pins, knives, etc.

We talked about me selling my M9 Slaughter, I wanted funds through a bank transfer for Mastercard, which he agreed to. Gave him the routing info, etc, then sent the knife as shown by the inventory history SS. He said I should see the funds in a day, I know how bank transfers work so it seemed fine. He even said I would stay on his friend list until I got the money, to confirm.

The knife disappeared pretty quick out of his inventory, which seemed odd. Later that day I checked his profile, and I was blocked, and that was that.

Frustrating that it's THIS easy for people to make themselves look convincing and trustworthy. Thanks for any help.​

Okay, but I don't see why the transaction names are needed, since this was for $235 USD, and no transaction represents that amount.

Not quite, it will be in 2 hours. A friend of mine was scammed last night by the same user, he should make a thread of his own I assume?

No payment received as of right now, thanks for looking into this.

I mentioned to my friend how polite/fast this trader was, and he had been looking to sell his knife also through PayPal. He traded with the same user, and was scammed, that's how I knew to check if I had been scammed also. I gave too quick a recommendation unfortunately, if a second thread is needed to give him a steamrep ban I'll let him know to make one.
