I've provided Screenshots of our conversation.

    Description:
I was trading on the Black Market Trade server and someone in chat said, 'Raffling a Blizzardy. Entry is 1 key, there are 14 slots and I need 4 more.' And I thought to myself, that is a very low amount of entries for such a large item. So i traded him and added him on steam to talk about it. He said something about it being donated by his group and he needed a couple more entries to do the raffle. I checked his Steam Rep and it was Clean. I checked his hours in tf2, somewhere above 1200. I thought to myself that he seems pretty trustable. So I traded him 2 keys for a some spaces in the raffle. And he said 'Alright we just need 2 more people to join, can one of your friends enter?'

I asked one of my friends and he wanted to join as well. He didn't though. So I decided to see if this person 'GreyTasty' trustable and i said, 'can i have my keys back, I decided not to do the raffle.'
It took him a while to respond. But he came out and said, 'if you're afraid of losing the raffle i can rig it so you'll win, if you just trade me your genuine Merc's Scarf I can go though the raffle like normal and make it so you'll win.'

I thought about this very quitely and said to myself 'is this guy trying to scam me?' and then i told him that i didn't want to do that because I don't know him and don't trust random people.
From there he traded my keys back to me that i entered for the raffle. I told him that by asking for my keys back I was testing if i could trust him. So, like an idiot, i gave him the keys back for the raffle, a little more trusting of him than before.

He went back and started pestering me about the merc's pride scarf. He said that he really wanted one. And that he could rig the raffle for me if i just gave it to him.

Long story short, he pestered me into giving it to him. And then said 'Alright I'm going to invite you to a group chat for the raffle.' I waited, and waited, and then he went offline. . . .

So I was left there, down a merc's Pride Scarf. I looked this guy up on outpost and someone from his own group said'-rep. Known to scam Unusuals' . Here's the link: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3517065

From there i knew i had just been scammed. So i looked in this guys friend's list and added people from his group, attempting to report to them that they had a member of there group who notoriously scams people. They all declined my friend requests. I noticed that one of my old friends Man of the Storm (http://steamcommunity.com/id/manofthestorm/) was in that group. So I readded him and told him that one of the administrator's of his group had just scammed me with a fake raffle. He told me he would do something about it.

Man of the Storm somehow convinced [KGP] Grey Tasty to re-add me in order to talk about what he had done. I have the conversation screen shotted on this thread. He admits to scamming people before me. He admit that he scammed me there. It's all in the text.

I have linked my trade history as well. He gave me back the keys which i gave him for the raffle in exchange for the scarf, Which is worth much more than 2 keys.

Even though he gave it back to you, he still scammed in the first place. Still the possibility of him doing this to others though.

Yeah if you feel it neccesary to take any action by all means do. I admit he was nice to me but he's done stuff to other people before and he did charge me a small fee to buy back my scarf.

If he gave it back no need to file a report. Just give him a break.

    Lol, you're kidding.. right?

He scammed you, saw this report.. and then returned the items. A scam is a scam no matter what.
  10. You do know that this whole series of events was essentially:
Pickpocket steals wallet, gets noticed, runs down an alley with a dead end with victim in pursuit.
Victim calls cops and stalks out alley with dead end.
Pickpocket takes $2 dollars out of the wallet and returns wallet to victim.
Victim says "Cops, it's alright, he gave me my wallet back, and I had to give him $2 for his effort."
Cops are like "Sir, we'll need you to come back to the station for a drug test."
