    Description:
I wass on the CVG Trading Server when Weegee came on, saying he was selling Stranges. I looked over his wares, asked about a Strange Scattergun (no Strange Parts), and he instantly said 2 keys. I linked him to backpack.tf to show him the actual price, when he started swearing at me and saying those sites get "haxd" and that 2 keys, 4 refined, or 4 clean hats are the real price. I closed the trade (should've screened, I know), and informed everyone that he was a scammer, as seen in the picture. He remained on the server for a few minutes more, attempting to sell, then left.

I don't think he was scamming at all. At the most, he was sharking (which is unmarkable on SteamRep except on rare occasions). It seems like he was going off of spreadsheet prices, which generally takes awhile to update (unless of course/*shot'd).

Let's see what the admins think when they get to this report.

Doubt it, Spreadsheet lists as 1 to 1.5 keys, not even close to 2 keys. He specifically said Spreadsheet and Backpack.tf both lie as well.

Regardless, no trader trusts Spreadsheet anymore, not after that Botkiller Medigun pricefixing scandal.

Too bad people still falling at the "spreadsheet". Botkiller Medigun was not the first item and will be not the last item which got boosted through the guys of the spreadsheet. Please don't feel offended but the "spreadsheet" is a "fakesheet". Everyone is following those guys, although they don't buy nor sell any item for the listed price. If you want an accurate price check go to the guys of tf2wh. They will buy your item for a given price AND selling those items for a lil bit (rly lil bit) more. Also learn to use the few trading sites. Search engine will help you to find the cheapest seller. And actually THAT'S THE CURRENT MARKET PRICE. Not the guy who overpriced his items.

However. This is NOT a scam. Everyone can decide their own prices, especially if we are talking abou a differnce of 0.5 keys -..- Take the sheets as a guide. Better - ignore them. Just take a look around and you will find offers who are cheap and others who are really mad.

    Going back on topic...
If he actually said that and actually believes it, he's just refusing the accept what the community has set and want to go against the norm (probably then turning around to buy thing at backpack.tf or spreadsheet prices). In other words, the accused, IMHO, is being stupid (not stubborn, actual stupidity), and stupid people will do stupid things. Let him live his delusions and move on.

This is more of a sharking attempt, and at this time Mann Co Trading and AceFortress handle our sharking reports. Thank you.
