What happened? Description:

I agreed to purchase the Golden Scavenging Guttleslug from him. He said he would reserve it for me as it's giftable only. After a month, i contacted him again, ready to get on with the transaction.

We agreed that I would buy something from him off the market, for the designated amount and he would then gift me the item.

I purchased his item, but he gifted me a Talon Hook, which is worth less than $0.25. He immediately removed me.

Hopefully there's enough evidence here. I can dig and find more if needed.​

A Golden Scavenging Guttleslug which was agreed to in the original agreement photo.

Here, this screen shot of the second chat includes the part about the agreed about item in the very beginning.

The item was part of a special promotion, so it's not tradeable or marketable. It is however giftable to friends who have been on your friend's list for more than 30 days. I first contacted him in November, which you can see in the initial agreement screen shot. I contacted him in January, once the item was giftable.

The screenshot of my market history shows that I purchased his item from the market at the agreed upon price.

The screenshot of my inventory shows that he gifted a different, worthless item after receiving my payment. The words "sent" and "best of luck" are still visible in the chat of that screenshot. He removed me as a friend immediately after.

The user readded me today. He says that his brother went on his account and scammed me. We're currently working on a solution.

i am the guy being accused as a scammer
at the moment i serve in Israel military and my younger brother had access to my account as i have over 200 games , and he saw our texting between us so he wanted to scam this guy
after i found out what he did i instantly changed my password and removed the access to my account ,after that i tried adding this guy back but he replied to me at the night while i was a sleep and removed me
today i added him again when i thougth he didnt saw my msgs and asked for forgiveness and offered the item again or a refund of the money he wasted here a chat log of our conversation sorry for wasting your time
