What happened? Description:

This person post a trade thread on dota2trade subreddit, where they were advertising a Golden Scavenging Guttleslug for 12 CS:GO keys (which cannot be trade before Sept 01 2018 and can only be gifted once). I added and contacted the user on steam to confirm my interest and intention to purchase, however, because it cannot be traded, we had to wait a month before a gift/trade could take place. Once the month passed, he messaged me and asked for me to send the 12 CS:GO keys, I agreed and sent the keys. Immediately after I sent the keys, he did the usual scammer "defriend/block".​

I added a screenshot showing that the scammer has now removed or sold the keys from his inventory.

I did post proof I did not receive the item, but I'll post an in-game screenshot of my inventory. Yes, that item can only be gifted once which, his item still has the "gift" counter on it (i.e he still has it).

But I've attached a screenshot showing my Armory with the recent date and it showing that the only item I've "received" this month is the Arc Warden set and not the golden guttleslug.

Very keen to get this guy's account tarnished. Someone with 12K Hours in dota shouldn't be scamming people. I want to make sure everyone knows.

Ok, but by having such a service (which I'm thankful for) is essentially calling people who are scammers out. If their account is not tarnished then this service will highlight they are scammers and essentially tarnish that.

I had already provided a screenshot of "Guttleslug still in scammers inventory" in the initial post, but I'll post another screenshot now.

Sure ok, it isn't your mission, I am just starting that it sort of does that by proxy. I certainly thought this person was innocent too, 12,000 hours in dota should lead one to believe that someone who has played that long wouldn't scam you, but yeah, perhaps that is a neat way to get those juicy scams?
