What happened? Description:

Individual attempted to contact me via chat that they had reported me mistakenly to a Steam Admin. Following this they provided an account profile link to 76561198008961221 who had such previous names as "blackie" and "PoooP" (indicated by his SteamRep historical data), who I doubt would represent Steam.​

Should I report this conversation and both of your profiles to Steam support?
I eagerly await your response.
I've screenshotted all of this as well as your profile and his, and your steamreps.
If this was a case of hacking I'm sure Steam Support will be able to examine the IP used when this was sent and they can hunt them down.

I have known the accused profile "ayyyitsconnor" since June, maybe July? This isn't the first I've heard of this scam since joining the DBD community but the "Pony" profile had a similar format to that other event. I have reported both users to valve, upon which "Pony" (76561198008961221) received a community ban.

I used Steam community support to submit a ticket since it was fraud against their own service and that way I could provide direct evidence as I have here.

I know Connor from the "Dead by Daylight" public Discord server but we've never been close, and I think have played together less than 5 times.

I'll do that next time I see them, but they were playing Dead by Daylight earlier so they still have access to the account.

Connor said he was hijacked.

I also said "Sorry if it's a hassle but apparently that scam is making the rounds. All they want is a screenshot of the support ticked and a reference code to prove recovery."

He blocked me.

The mutual server used to send messages prior is still there, so it has to be a block.
