What happened? Description:

A friend of mine who attempted the "I accidentally reported you for having duplicated items" scam (Supposed admin also listed in separate report).​

Provide Evidence:

While I just joined the Blackwonder class wars server, Vladimir requested that I talk to him after he supposedly reported me for having duped items accidentally. He later asked that I friend a supposed "admin of Steam" within two hours time, or else my account will be banned. This "admin" is actually an alternate account of his made to look like one a Steam admin may use.

He is the admin of steam
please just add him and confirm that i mistakenly reported you by accident
he said you have 2 hours to add him or your account will get banned

Also, I cannot find that as I was blocked by his account. If you look at the GIF image in the archived report, you can definitely see that the admin is an alternate account of this user, given the avatar used.

Update: Just got word from a friend of both myself and Vladimir that his account was likely stolen due to being 14 years of age. The supposed Admin likely stole his account and is using it to operate the scam.

Update: Vladimir's account can no longer be accessed. The supposed admin is still on the loose

I've been in contact with a longtime friend of his, who confirmed that the account can no longer be accessed. The supposed admin, on the other hand, has just been Community Banned by Valve

My friend and I have lost all contact with the true owner

Both myself and the longtime friend of Vladimir's were blocked after the account was compromised, meaning we lost all communication.
