    Ok now let me make sure I'm all on the same page - You let the user BORROW or take one item first rather than do a 1 for 1 trade as its intended? Why would you do such a thing if that was the case? Valve made the system to TRADE not give item then get another item from a completely different trade.

    Lastly the other trade was from the day before or the one with the other user you mentioned, why would you assume this user was the same from a trade offer sent the day before without any additional context/chat from that account?

    I assumed he was the same because I added august. and he said my knife is in my main, so then he added me with the Shino account, and already knows whats happening, so he discussed the trade he was going to make between us and I trusted him because he had a legit profile and had +reps.

    During that time it was a bit late for me, so I didn't concentrate well, and that was the only time the scammer was online. What was sketchy too is that he changed his profile very fast and included info that looks copy pasted probably from the account the scammer was trying to impersonate.

    Yes you can call me stupid because during that time as I said I barely could concentrate. He still took my item and blocked me, so he is technically a scammer. His profile is even private for everyone! What I also think is that he deleted all of his comments due to victims who fell for his scams trying to warn the future victims of his scams.

    If there was a way to check recent chats from blocked and removed people, I would've sent the chat history to you immediately.
