I contacted a guy to trade with him at dotalounge site about his dota 2 timebreaker item
he ask for 17 dark keys
I added him and he ask for fast trade
I added my 17 keys and he put the timebreaker and when we both ready ,his timebreaker was at the trade window but after I clicked make trade the item just vanished

Almost same thing happened to me. Steam guys claim that you cant cheat regular trade window. If that is true, then he removed item but you didnt see this.
or you didnt double check item in his part of trade...

You must have some proofs. You can contact steam support if you want... but they will not return your items back.
Try to find some screenshots of chat history, trade and inventory history and post here in proper format.

Man i feel your pain, this "go fast my steam will break". Next time avoid "fast trade and go fast trade, gtg etc. "
Steam never gonna break, if steam "break" it will be up and running again soon. Good luck, make sure you contact steam support.
