Description: A couple months back I got ArmA: CO form this guy and we traded Co for a few TF2 items..well few months later (TODAY) I see the message in the screen shots...this was clearly a fraud/scam, and I doubt he'll be willing to buy me ArmA again...I really don't want to explain it again, I made a post on Reddit if you want it I'll post it.

This was a traded game through steam's trading system, I verified this with the victim. There is no proof that the accused user was the original purchaser nor that this was anything other then another day to day trade for items. I also told the user to try to chat with the accused to try and work something out and find out what the story was.

He says he got hacked.......but the thing is that the "hacker" negotiated the value of the item to me and actually tried to get a profit, and wanted me to add some extra stuff in the trade, such as Dota 2 and a few other TF2 items..also it seems the "hacker" didn't even try to harm him (as in, try to take his stuff) his BP is normal with everything in it (it seems), and his games and inventory games are stll there (i.e. Amnesia: The Dark Descent) and it seems he recupperated the account quite easily.

I bought 2 copies of Dishonored from him for a bunch of TF2 keys. Today it appears the Dishonored copies have disappeared -.-

Any idea how I can get trade reversed?

He says he got hacked and they "sold" all his games, but yet the "hacker" went through the trouble of making a post and everyhting and still ask for items in return, funny don't you think?

This doesn't make any sense. hacker hacks his account, how does the games in our inventory disappear? I mean we traded for his games, he admits he traded us the games and after the trade is done how come this hacker hacks the account and disappear all the games we traded for. Just thinking about his explanation gives me headache.

Anyway I tried to add him and he ignored my friend request. I checked again and it seems that games were revoked a month later so only thing that can explain this is chargeback and hacker thing is an excuse. me and my already filed report with Steam Support to get the trade revresed. Hopefully we will get our items back

I filed a report to Steam Support about a week ago, hopefully they reply soon and get me my items back..

^ nvm they just replied, got the TF2 items back, too bad I didn't get the game back though :/
