Description:
The scammer asked me to download a file to get team fortress a linux suit but the file gets me to enter my username and password.
I've never talked to this user before. He has always been on my friends list, but today just randomly talked to me about the linux.

Do you mind telling us the program? Then i could tell you if it is safe or not i know 1 or 2 programs that can get you the tux.

Hey, there are programs that "mimic" a linux machine and it allows you to get the linux tux like that. I would be intrested in taking a look at the file though.

That isn't a scam it just emulates you logging into a Linux machine and launching TF2 it is safe I've done it along with my mates.

Thats the code used. You could do it and then just change your password but as long as you have Steam Guard they can't do anything anyway.

How can you know that it's the real deal here now?

Usually when some one randomly sends stuff like that they are after something...as in trying to phish. The Tux was a huge deal for scammers and phishers, loads of people got scammed/robbed by .exe files and some even were stupid enough and gave away their account details. Anyhow, never trust anything anyone sends at least not if it's some kind of program!
