I wanted a CS:GO key invite so badly that I thought I would give it a shot and see if this guy was for real. Basically, as you can see by the screenshot and chat log, he logged out after I traded him 1 of my Dota 2 invites. He has since changed his profile name a few times and made his profile private then changed it to friends only. Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot of the trade window because I was an idiot and didn't expect him to scam me. I've already reported him to Valve. If you need more information feel free to ask. I've commented twice before he ignored me and both times he put his profile on private so he could delete the comments without anyone seeing. Sorry for the double/triple posts but I can't edit my previous posts anymore, seems to be a time limit.
We'll mark him for this, but there's nothing more we can do here. You can put in a Steam Support ticket, but they always decline to get involved in key trades (which is a terrible idea, and SteamRep tries to stay out of them, too). In this case I think it's pretty clear the guy scammed you, but in the future, don't trade for game keys.
