    Description:
Hello, My name is Wonderwall. Yesterday April 15 at 21:00 or 9pm approximately I got scammed. Basically, I knew this guy was a scammer and I wanted to play along, so i handed him over my buds and unusual hat. I set up some regulations; if he did not hand over the duplicated items, which I know he would not because that does not exist. So today i find out he blocked me, changed his name and sold my items; i've traced the items to him so its 100% him as you can see here; http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10115535 those are my buds and 19 hours ago as you can see in the evidence thats when i gave him the buds.

That is all I have to say. I live by one belief; I don't like seeing bad people taking advantage of good people.

Hello, could you provide a screenshot of your trade history just to show that you completed the trade?

Anyone stupid enough to try and get their items duped from a "duper" is enabling scamming. Congratulations on losing your items and getting marked on SR.

You tried to get your buds duped from a scammer, what did you expect would happen?

academic - trying to dupe items is exploit glitches, i.e. keeping expiring crates, turn untradables into tradables, making vintages

    i see an appeal here.

    Sure you do.

Either way, this thread is over.

Appeal if you want, I don't care either way.

No, they are QUITE different. Trying to dupe items, as we have seen, will often get you permanently trade banned and your backpack wiped. Keeping expired crates is something collectors do. Turning untradeables into tradables and making vintages once again gets you in big trouble, often VAC banned as well, and often gets your backpack wiped. We don't even have to mark people on SR for that because Valve takes care of all those people.

We do mark them, however, as it is exploitation and theft. But my point here is that SteamRep will be the least of your worries if you attempt those things.
