He added me offering to buy my unusual pot for paypal, but I like to check everyone. He linked me to someone else's rep thread, and I added the person he is impersonating and he said it wasn't him. His account is much younger, has no games, and has a drastically different name history. I'll add more if I get more info.

I don't think I can edit the initial post, so here's a SS of me and the real Yeow Like Whoa! chatting so I could make sure it wasn't him.

Real Yeow here. Dreamer added me today to inform me that I do indeed have an impersonator. My info below.

I don't have a copy of the chat log. He bought an item for $70 after impersonating the real user and didn't pay.

If he did actually scam something from you try contacting Valve. A SS of your trade history might be useful.

It's a very slim chance that they will, they discourage selling items with paypal and the line.

This person just changed their steam id again, now it is "Dyst" and they are impersonating that user, along with using the same profile image. They will likely try to scam more people with this new id. The user id was "Yeow Like Whoa!" when I made the trade.

What were the terms of the trade agreed upon?
After trade, buyer (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198068931700) was to send paypal payment of $70.

What is the approximate date and time of the trade?
4/30/13 at around 5PM PST.

This user should be permanently banned from Steam.


I gave them a link to this thread as well. Hope we can get this person kicked off Steam before they scam more people!
