i've sold a couple hats to marked scammers and bought buds from marked scammer.

i'm not a scammer myself, i have a solid rep and I've donated over 100$ to tf2outpost and 10 at the moment to sr.

So you're saying I should get a scammer tag for trading? Yet you guys hire toddlers such as beef and tators to be SR admins and allow them to throw rage fits in unusual servers while impersonating admins? Then give him a slap on the wrist. Frankly I don't think you should be able to control who trades with who. Sounds a bit like communism or tyranny to me.

Calm down there buddy. If you're actually looking at getting a successful appeal from an actual SteamRep admin, then there is no reason to throw unneeded insults.

• New traders: New traders who are unaware of SteamRep will not receive penalties to their reputations, but will receive a one-time warning.

cry me a river man i just got tagged with caution and i havn't traded with any other "Marked Scammers" You all deserve to mind ur own business.. why isn't this thread locked for SR admins only anyway because frankly your opinion means squat to me

I've been trading for a month and i have more rep than half of u I'm sure.

its still communism and/or tyranny.. which always comes to an end at some time or another. If i don't have a fair chance in this its gonna be bad for everyone.. 1. Bias 2. Invasion of privacy just to name a couple of offenses just by an SR admin while i started playing tf2. ill just contact valve and type a formal complaint with a petition attached, get as many people to sign it as i can and submit it.. ill do it as long as it takes.. I'm one of the MOST honest traders in this game and anyone that knows me, knows this. These randoms posting can keep their opinions.. to themselves.. they don't know me, they don't know how i operate.. i've traded on numerous games since the late 90s.. so get off my back.

Calm down and wait for an SR admin to take your request. The more you insult, the less chances you will have at an appeal.

I highly doubt you have more rep than "running a community of traders", which all of us are. So please, refrain from comments like this.

No SR admin has actually replied to this thread yet. Daemon is not an SR admin, neither is Jmcmλtrix, and neither am I.

So please, wait for an official response before anything.

Your appeal will be handled when we get to it, as we have a robust backlog. FYI beef n tators is not a SR admin. Our goal is to make the TF2 trading world a safer place for all to trade within. There are set rules, whether we all agree or not, that need to be followed or a trader can be marked if guidelines are not followed. Your case will be handled fairly, as soon as we get to it in line. For now I am locking this to prevent you from further ranting that is not helping you.

Thanks for you guys time. I didn't fully understand the SR system at the time and now i do. Not only do scammers gain free money but it enables them to continue their schemes and scam other people. Wont happen again. Sorry about the trouble. I havn't since traded with any marked scammers and I have avoided any suspicious friend requests.

I just felt like i was being treated as if i were a criminal and didn't have a clue why at the time. I apologize to all that i offended, but from my point i was also offended, even though u guys were in the right, i didn't see it. i have a rlly good rep on the servers for being trusted and didnt want it to be affected by my ignorance on the subject. Now i'm informed on the matter and it will no longer be an issue.
