Description:
I asked if anyone wanted to buy my Cozy Camper, and this scammer asked to trade with me. I didn't know what he was a scammer, and agreed. Then he said that I must first give him the Cozy Camper, then after that he will give me a craftable hat - Billycock. I, being one who never experienced scammers before, agreed like an idiot, and after the trade he said what you can see in the screenshot, and shortly left. Looking by his profile, he already scammed many guys, got banned for it, but then he lied that he wont ever scam again. Plus it seems that he is a F2P.

Thank you for reading, and I know that it's awful, especially for a post made in hurry.

I was there when it happened. I would have taken a screenshot of his profile, but it was changed to "friends only" which makes it seem he is trying to cover up. He was already banned from a server as Kandyman said, and promised to not scam, but just did.

He also deleted my comment where i pointed out he just scammed my friend.

Scammers have gotten to a low point, where as now you see them scamming WEAPONS.

The scammer has been reported to Steam Support and has been officially BANNED by Valve (also notice how he changed his nickname to this just so he could scam more)
Also agreed to FruitySnacks, the lowest point they can get now is to scam CRATES :V

Wow... that's just sad that they would ACTUALLY try to disguise themselves as a Valve Developer XD They got what they deserved, so yeah, I suppose an admin should shut this down. And yeah, I've noticed some really low scammers lately, pity that they pick on the poorer side of the Team Fortress community because they know that almost all of the higher-end traders will get them marked even for intent if they try and scam an unusual xD If it is any real consolation, I have a spare cozy camper if you truly want to be reimbursed. It's a small thing, I don't even truly need it anyway
