Well... this might seem it goes on forever but... it does. Anyways... it all started a couple days ago. I got invited to this new Lottery group. How cool I thought so I joined it.

Yeah... Looked good and all from the outside... never bothered to raffle or anything... but that was until they posted about an Unusual El Jefe with Flaming Lantern, 1 of 4. I WAS AMAZED because the price of each ticket was only 1 refined and there were only going to be 100 tickets! I said im just gonna buy em all and get the el jefe. That was right before I began to smell something funny. Funny eww not funny haha. I asked him why is he selling it so cheap and he first said it was because he wants to give people a chance. When i asked him why is it not is his backpack, he said it was in his friends who wanted to help him out. Then I asked him why is he selling it for so low and he said that he is paying the equivalent. Strangely, he barely had anything in his backpack so I asked him how is he going to pay for it and he told me he had a lot of stuff on his alternate account. This really smelt weird but turned putrid when I asked him for the guy's steam address and his alternates address. Strangely, he said he couldn't tell me either. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and decided, what the heck? 1 out of 4 in the world... So... i went a hunting. I scoured through the internet in search of them. 2 i found very easily. 1) Was owned by Blankman1 and he was selling it but never heard of this lottery and havent got any bids on it by anyone with any name like that. 2) Was owned by Justy. I added him and he never got any bids like that either. 3) System32Gremlin was totally freaked when I asked him about it because he never put it up for trade and was annoyed until I explained everything to him. All these three amazing guys are very interested in this other el jefe. That was until I found the fourth guy. 4) LS Electro is a guy who hasn't been online in a week. Even before this unusual raffle started. He never put his up for trade and it is extremely improbable this is the guy. Then, yesterday, a pop up flashed by my screen. The lottery would finish in 5-6 hours and 3 hours later another pop up appeared saying it would be finished in 2 hours. Some time ago, I wondered if it was real and added him again. I asked him who won and guess what? He couldn't tell me. How odd. Then, I asked him if I won (HAHAHA I NEVER EVEN BET BECAUSE IT WAS TOO WEIRD) and he said i was close? DA HELL? He said I can fight for it if I bid? I made up some fake excuse and ran. This is obviously a fake group organized by a scammer and some friends. If there is a real item, he probably gives it to a friend's alt account or his alt account and proclaims that someone won! I don't have many screenshots of these occurrences because it all happened so fast but have 2 of the chat we had today. This guy's account should be banned and rep should be destroyed. There is another guy named Teddy Engivelt who decided he wanted to back out of this and posted on his wall but was quickly taken down before anyone saw. Except me of course.

So let me get this straight. Their putting up fake raffles, 1ref entry, they tell everyone they were close, and they run off with the ref?

They don't even run off. They pretend like someone actually won. One of their "rules" is that the person can ask the guy to not disclose their name which is awkward. Everyone was close but they will be defeated by each other until one person wins who will be friends or alt acc to -=(P)=- Engineer

Thats low. If you were to submit your report to steam/valve they'd probably shut the group down and the ones who set it up.

This definitely sounds like a scam.

Me and wolfrost have been inspecting and gathering evidence about it and it really seems like a scam, in theyre group most of the people there have "private" profiles and ive been a little suspicious, then when i was looking at the past winners, i noticed the accounts that won are all private and leaves my very very suspicious, i friended p-engineer too to ask him who owns it and asked other questions, but he never said who owns it and wont tell me who, then me and wolfrost waited till the raffle ended so we will know who has won the raffle, i couldnt see what happened when it ended coz my comp broke down, so i asked wolf to tell me what happens next and to get more evidence, then thats when i saw this post, and thats it

Note that it was really suspicious when i first saw it too and when wolfrost told me what happened, then when we were talking i decided to look for evidence, thats how i did some research and ended up here...

Also when joining raffles, NOTE AND BACKGROUND CHECK if its a real raffle or not...

Today a man added me asking if I was the other bidder. Of course there is a bidder scam now. Everyone is close to winning and bids with an imaginary guy who keeps outbidding. This guy lost multiple unusuals including a steaming salty dog and a stormy storm ze goggles. THIS IS STILL UP AND RUNNING!
