I entered the trade and lowballed for around 3 keys 3 ref, which he accepted. Of course, it wasn't a real strange pda but an unusual with a name tag. The scammer immediately renamed himself from "xXSWAGXx This is a horible name" to "LOL" and peace'd out of the server, after which I filed a Steam ticket. Next day, I try and get a hold of this guy who is now named "Pie is Awesome" and explain that I filed a ticket, punitive action is inevitable, and that he can possibly make it less harsh by restoring my items to me. Initially he denies even having seen my name until I explain that each account has a unique ID. After that, he says that Steam support does not address scamming and that I will never receive my items back. Now I unfortunately don't have screencaps of all that nonsense, but I do have a subsequent trade conversation where he basically admits to scamming me, selling one of my keys and attempting to give me the "approximate value" of my scammed items.
Hello, BSODBlues. I sincerely apologize for the time it has taken to process this report. I have taken the necessary actions against the accused. Thank you.
