Screenshots: Description: My friend was contacted by this scammer earlier this morning via a post on tf2 outpost, he posted a steam community link claiming that his friend had a steam error and that my friend would have to add him. Shortly after my friend had to leave so he signed out of his steam account. The hijacker then logged in to my friends account and traded away the unusual to the account of likemyshoe. likemyshoe's account was hacked by the same scammer and he is using his account to store all of his stolen goods. The scammer made an alternate account to send a fake link to people so that they could steal other players accounts and items.

I got some information to add. Backstory on how I got this information:

Alright, so I was looking for a Stormy 13th Baker Boy (Wanted to search for one) and I found the trade/outpost profile of likemyshoe. All of the user's trades had "Help, my accounts been hacked" or "Im not a phisher, hacker's using my account" So I checked the history of these hats, and traced them to a user called SG|Rally driver. At this very moment, he is in possession of all of these hats. I even added him and spoke to him, and he claimed that he was the phisher and he stole the hats for money.

Backstory is pretty short because all of this happened in the last 10-15 minutes.

Thanks for the info now that we know what his real account is maybe we can actually get people their items back.

The scammer transferred his hats to another alt and sold me the nuts and bolts fez for 13keys. I feel horrible for buying the hat but at the time I didn't know that it was stolen and its not like I could do anything about it.

I've already reported the guy and I'm just hoping he gets marked soon .. before he manages to sell off all of his items.

Yeah there was know way you could have known, thanks for telling us though, now I just need to find out how to tell my friend about this, it was his first unusual hat so he was very excited about it.

Never mind about my last post I sorted it out with him thanks for all the help guys, the faster we take down this scammer, the less people he can trick.

So far he is only transferring some of the unusuals to his third alt, there usually the ones that he manages to sell. He doesn't seem to trust outpost since he is not selling it on there anymore.

So apparently he moved the rest of his stolen unusuals to some other alt account because there are not in his backpack anymore. Does anyone have any further information regarding this?
