I scammed a guy, gave his stuff back and he even wanted to take the report down.
I deserve to be flagged as a scammer, but I don't think that I deserve lifetime mark.

I want to serve some time for my crime, but for making up for myself I am asking if you could put a timer on my status.

This was my first offence and I did not know about steamrep at all, even when I added him to give the items back I didn't know what steamrep was. I felt bad for having the stolen item, I could not feel any ownership of it and I felt bad.

This is entirely true, I am the one he scammed, after he scammed it from me, it took about 6 hours for him to re-trade me and give me my unusual back. A few days later, today, I sent him some messeges in steam, and I bought the real #1 for a legit price which I picked.

So yeah, I think this guy doesn't deserve the scammer tage which I got him. Lol. He's a good guy, and made even more so by the fact that he gave me the stuff back instead of just running, and made the trade in the end.

Regardless of if you gave the item back or not, you still scammed.

Based upon the evidence presented, Rikku did in fact scam. However, he was not asking to be unmarked, but instead for a time frame on his tag.

I spoke with the victim in this case and he asked that the tag be removed. The victim told me the items were turned and the real trade did go down.

While Rikku did intend to scam and did in-fact scam, this was a one time isolated event. However, his motives for reversing the scam are questionable to me. Regardless, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and offer a second chance to Rikku.

Based upon the foregoing, the mark will remain under January 1, 2013. Any time after that date, Rikku may contact a SteamRep+ admin and request his tag be lowered from SCAMMER to Caution. The Caution tag will not be removed. If, for any reason, any scamming activity is reported, the mark will not be downgraded and the SCAMMER tag will remain.
