I saw a post buying keys for real money on TF2Outpost, and decided to make an offer on it (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13177304). About 3 hours later, the poster added me. He offered me a really great deal, though it dealt with Steam wallet codes, so I was skeptical. I checked over his profile and saw that he had a few comments of rep, a fair number of games owned, had a clean SteamRep status. I figured that he was just a new trader who would be foolish enough to make such a good deal, so I went against my gut and took the offer. He then removed me from his friends list, and declined my further friend requests. I joined a few games that he was in on TF2, and he would leave the server immediately after seeing me. I even tried changing my name a few times to try and get in contact with him. He would leave as soon as I tried to say hello to him or send him a trade request. Yes, it was a foolish mistake on my part, but I have learned.
