Hi SteamRep,

I was notified by a friend that I am listed as a scammer on this site, I feel that I should appeal this to make clear that I'm a trustworthy person who is interested in legitimately trading items released for Dota 2, whenever that is.

I cannot recall any instance of me scamming or persuading anyone for any items related to TF2 any other games that use Steam Trade. I do not play Team Fortress 2 enough to want to steal from someone.

The only thing I can think of is; Usually I receive one or more friend requests per month asking if I'd be willing to trade for my Bill's Hat. As stated above I am not interested in any TF2 items, but wish to keep my hat unless traded for something that really interests me (a game as a Steam gift). What I think may have happened is, someone asked me to trade them my Bill's, I gave them an impossible offer that might have made them angry, and they proceeded to report me without pretense.

If there is some record of why I was reported as a scammer, I'd love to hear about it and if possible, explain more thoroughly what might have happened.

Upon a little research, this is a TF2 Trader ban that was transferred to SteamRep a year ago. Since it is a year ago and it originates from a community, you must be unbanned from the community before we will consider removing your mark.
