Description: A person was claiming to be able to take any steam item and trade for steam credit. I sent a request and showed him the items I wanted to trade. He totaled up the price and I was still paranoid and thought he was a scammer. So I asked for a middleman and he got a "supposed" middleman. Well I checked both their profiles on steamrep and they were clean so I figured this was probably fine and I wouldn't get scammed. Even the middleman's profile had some +rep good trader on it. Well I traded the middleman and he said he sent the money using a "glitch". Then he logged off with some excuse and de-friended me. Well first scam I learned a lesson. Thankfully it wasn't majorly valuable items but I still wonder if there is a way Valve can refund me. I bet he then traded my items to another account so now it's not traceable. Infact I just checked and none of my items are in his inventory. I just want him banned and known as a scammer.

Pikachu contacted me today and explained to me that his friend got on his steam account and scammed a few people. He has told me he will repay me for the trouble I've gone through. He should not be steamrep banned for his friend's fault.

Sadly I was too late in taking screenies of the chat he had between me and him Saturday. He said he'd give me 4 keys if I could convince you guys to not ban him. This makes me more suspicious and makes me think this is some ruse set up so he isn't banned. I am thinking that you guys should give him the option of him giving me 4 keys or steamrep ban. But I have no idea if at this point if he will be banned no matter what. It's up to you guys. I'm just informing you of perhaps his intents to not get banned.
