I bought a Hijacked unusual..Should i be worried?

Hello. I bought myself a Unusual towering pillar of hats stormy storm This guy was selling it and i bought it. Later on he was mark as a scammer. No idea why :/ Then later on the original owner of this unusual contacted me on tf2outpost.com and said that hes account was hijacked and that was his unusual. I HAD NO IDEA I bought the unusual with my own pure hard work money.
Should i be worried? i know that it devalues the unusual by a few but imma get marked aswell?

He clearly states that "later on" he was marked, so since he wasn't marked at the time of trade, there would be no drama.

The right thing to do would be to give it back to the original owner. But as I'm sure you're unwilling to do that (I would be too) you should sell it, keep however much you paid for it and give the rest back to the original owner.

If the original owner was hijacked and this was their first time being hijacked, they gett their items granted back to them by steam support. If they have been hijacked before they would not get their items back, as steam support will only restore hijacked items once.

Porfirfo payed honestly for it, I see no reason for him to give it back to the owner. Why was the owner hijacked in the first place..did he stupidly fall for a phising link?

if he payed for it, its his, he cant know that the guy is hijacked.

Like what most people said why give back the unusual if he paid the right amount for the right amount for the hat.

But wouldn't that just end up with the OP getting a trade ban whenever support returns the item? Support would see him as an alt, they don't recognize the payments made via PayPal or anything other than the steam market?
