Summary:
By "slight of hand" and slow steam trade window, the scammer who was selling a Bear on Dota 2 for 3 keys wanted to get rid of some commons in order to change them for new ones. Fair enough I thought, even though I had none where he said chests would do the same. Stupid as I am, I kept the focus on my side of the trade and while I was adding chests, he removed the bear, which was the item of value.

Once I saw that the bear was missing I canceled the trade and according to the trade window I did it successfully, but a couple of seconds later the trading window appeared, saying the trade was successful.

The rest of the chat on the provided picture contains of me basically begging for my keys back, but the scammer had blocked me already.

Gathering Inventory History
1) Click on Inventory
2) Click on View Inventory History
3) Scroll down when you traded with the scammer
4) Upload the screenshot you took to directly to SteamRep via Upload a File button.

Certainly. As you can see I got a couple random commons, which were used as a distraction to not notice the missing item. The chests were added by his request.
